The Tourism & Hospitality COVID-19 Mastermind programme has been introduced to provide regular direct support to businesses during these challenging times.
This is a unique opportunity for leaders of businesses in the Tourism & Hospitality sector in Buckinghamshire to take time out from their businesses to tackle challenging issues, explore new ideas and grow as leaders – all with the support of like-minded peers.
Groups of up to 6 individuals will meet online weekly for 6 weeks of 90-minute sessions, supported by a facilitator with a background in the Tourism & Hospitality sector.

How does the programme work?
The programme has been developed in partnership by Visit Buckinghamshire, Buckinghamshire Business First and Be the Business as part of its Collaborative Networks for Tourism and Hospitality activity.
The aim is to bring business owners, leaders and senior managers together to improve business performance through joint learning, sharing and collaboration.
The Mastermind programme is an evolution of the work that Buckinghamshire Business First and Be the Business have been doing separately in other areas with great success.
These sessions have helped business owners save time and money, make useful business contacts, discover breakthroughs and tackle challenges amongst a network of like-minded peers.
The programme is fully funded, but to take part, participants must commit to:
- Attend 6 x 90 minute online meetings over a period of 6 weeks
- Tackle practical, key business issues with leaders who have experience and knowledge to share
- Maintain complete confidentiality about the discussions that take place within the group and sign a non-disclosure agreement
- The use of your image and testimonials being used on promotional material relating to the group
You are eligible to express an interest in joining the programme if you:
- Are a business owner or senior manager responsible for a tourism & hospitality business in Buckinghamshire
- Employ staff or volunteers
- Are thinking about how to build resilience and plan for the recovery of your business post-COVID-19
- Are keen to work in partnership with other tourism & hospitality businesses in Buckinghamshire to grow the visitor economy in the county
