Buckinghamshire Business First launches free Start-Up membership scheme

As part of our ‘Start in Bucks’ initiative, start-up membership is specifically aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs and will offer a comprehensive package of advice, support and access to mentoring.

We are also interested in hearing from any members who may be able to offer start-ups in Buckinghamshire a special deal on their product or service. You can upload any offers or discounts here. If you have any queries relating to the Member Offer service, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@bbf.uk.com.

With an abundance of start-up resources available, finding the right information can be time-consuming and frustrating. Buckinghamshire Business First aims to cut through all of this by offering a ‘first stop shop’ for anyone considering a start-up business. In addition to free advice and tailored sign posting, start-up members will also gain access to all the latest grants and funding opportunities, together with networking events and a quarterly newsletter. Start-up members can also benefit from the free use of meeting rooms and hot-desking facilities at BBF’s Hubs at The Clare Charity Centre in Saunderton and Chesham Library.

Philippa Batting, Managing Director of Buckinghamshire Business First, comments:

“Buckinghamshire represents the collective business voice of the county and our aim is to support local entrepreneurs to ensure they receive all the help they need to get their businesses off the ground. This will also reinforce Buckinghamshire’s reputation as the most dynamic business environment in the country.

“The relationship between Buckinghamshire Business First and its members plays a very important role in the growth of the local economy and the start-up membership scheme is a great opportunity for the next generation of entrepreneurs to become part of the ‘Entrepreneurial Heart of Britain.’”

If you know of anyone who is starting a business and could benefit from this support, please forward this newsletter to them and encourage them to sign up. Alternatively they can contact Buckinghamshire Business First on 01494 927130 or at membership@bbf.uk.com.
