Buckinghamshire businesses are on the rise!

The latest statistics on businesses in Buckinghamshire make for good reading for those wanting to promote the county’s excellent prospects.

In the first quarter of 2014, 1,272 new companies formed in Buckinghamshire and a further 1,248 formed in the second quarter. Additionally, 16 companies relocated to Buckinghamshire last year, 12 of which are foreign owned.

This is no surprise given the excellent conditions that exist here for businesses. Our great transport links mean business people can move around the county and the surrounding areas easily for meetings, while this also appeals to those looking to come here for meetings or to scope out inward investment opportunities.

On a more personal level, though still a factor that impacts on businesses, the beautiful surroundings of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty help to create an atmosphere that any business would want to be a part of.

With this is mind, could you get involved with helping to bring more businesses to Buckinghamshire?

Buckinghamshire Business First is hosting a free event, ‘Buckinghamshire Means Business’ in Saunderton on 30 September that will highlight all the information and support you could ever need to convince a business to move to Buckinghamshire.

Do you get enquiries from UK based businesses about relocating to Buckinghamshire? Has a foreign business contacted you and asked for information about moving to the county? Are you marketing commercial property to businesses outside of the Thames Valley – home and abroad?

If so, the event will answer all of your questions and more!
