Explore new horizons on trade visit to Japan

The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) is developing new connections with Osaka, Japan.

This trip is for those with aspirations to do business in Japan’s leading Green Technology region.

The Buckinghamshire Thames Valley region is a hotbed for the technology industry and this trip represents a great chance for Buckinghamshire Business First members to put themselves at the forefront of collaboration with Japan’s leading tech firms.

Successful applicants will receive financial support as guests of Osaka Chamber of Commerce (OCC) to undertake a three day Trade & Investment programme in Osaka, from February 8th to 11th 2016.

The visit will include speaker opportunities at the UK Green Technology Forum in Osaka where companies will share thought leadership in the Green Tech sector and aspirations to work with Japan. The delegation will also engage in B2B meetings with OCCI members in the energy / low carbon sector.

The objectives of developing closer links with Osaka and the wider Kansai region are to provide commercial opportunities for international trade customers in Japan's leading energy / low carbon cluster, to attract new Japanese inward investment opportunities into the UK and Thames Valley, and to support the wider low carbon / energy related activities undertaken by TVCC.

To register your interest please send a brief description (150 words maximum) of your business solution, and existing links or aspirations for links with Japan to annewhite@tvchamber.co.uk.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 9th October 2015.
