Fill the skills gap in your workforce with fully funded training

The talents and skills within our workforce drive competitiveness and productivity, helping businesses to grow and thrive. However, workforce training can be expensive and stretched budgets often mean that companies are unable to invest as much time as they would like on staff training. The good news is that small and medium sized businesses across Buckinghamshire can now get help to train their staff for free.

The Skills Support for the Workforce programme offers a range of training units tailored to help you, the employer, overcome your specific needs and bridge the skills gaps and shortages within your workforce. The programme will allow you to analyse your business needs and identify training programmes and qualifications specifically for identified staff, to improve their skills and competency. Because time is precious, wherever possible training is delivered in the workplace in order to minimise time off work.

If you would like to know more about Skills Support for the Workforce and how you can access the training available to your business, see the information on the Buckinghamshire Business First website, or contact us on 01494 568944.
