Get your business involved with a global icon

Imagine stepping on stage in front of a hundred people and delivering a blistering speech that captivates hearts and minds. This is the principle of TED Talks, the global movement that has reached over 1 billion people online.

Now imagine your business being involved in this movement. Imagine the kudos of associating your brand with such a renowned and respected institution.

Fortunately, reality trumps the imagination in this case as TEDx, an off-shoot of TED events, comes to Aylesbury for the first time on Saturday 9 May and your business can get involved by sponsoring the event.

TEDx is a not-for-profit event and partners are being sought to bring the event to life. Organisers are particularly keen to work with businesses who are able to offer in-kind sponsorship to cover the costs of catering, event insurance, and set-dressing required on the day. Packages to sponsor an element of the event range from £250 to £2,000 and can be tailored to suit your business’s requirements.

The event takes place at the Waterside Theatre with the theme ‘Misfits and Pioneers’. Speakers include comedian Shappi Khorsandi, Karen Blackett OBE, CEO of Mediacom, Ian Wright, Professor of Planetary Sciences at the Open University, the folk singer Roy Bailey, and David Neita, a barrister and poet.

If you would like to find out more about the sponsorship opportunities available email events@bbf.uk.com and include TEDx in the subject field.
