Social ventures with the potential of high growth can apply for grants from the new Investment and Contract Readiness Fund which is a new £10 million fund. It is aimed at social ventures which are financially sustainable and will be focusing on helping them raise capital of a minimum of £500,000.
Eligible social ventures include registered charities, social enterprises, community and voluntary organisations, social businesses, charities and mutuals.
Applications open on 21 May 2012. The fund is also currently looking for organisations to become approved providers of support to social ventures.
