Join the global movement and host an Hour of Code at work

The campaign centres around a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to teach the basics of coding to anyone that wants to learn. With December 8th- 14th being Computer Science Education Week, organisers of the Hour of Code are hoping to get as many people as possible coding during this week.

Last year over 3 million people in the UK took part in the Hour of Code’s week-long campaign  and 15 million people did so worldwide, with more girls trying computer science during that week than had done so in the previous 70 years.

Anyone can organise and participate in an Hour of Code event. There is no experience required and there are no upper or lower age limits. Anybody with the desire to learn a new skill can get involved.
