Professor Ruth Farwell celebrates success

Following two entry submission and interview stages, Ruth was chosen by the Awards judging panel as one of six finalists in the Outstanding Contribution category. The winner will be announced at a gala awards ceremony on 11 September at Oakley Hall, near Basingstoke, in the presence of special guest speaker, Dame Stephanie Shirley, a successful and inspirational IT entrepreneur turned philanthropist and workplace revolutionary, as well as being rated one of the top 100 most powerful women in Britain.

The Women in Business Awards are open to women working in organisations in the south of England, and further information can be found at: www.businessmag.co.uk/women-in-business/.

In addition to being nominated as finalists in the Women in Business Awards, Ruth has also be appointed Honorary President of the Association of University Administrators (AUA), a membership body set up to advance the recognition and development of all who work in professional services roles in higher education, and to be an authoritative advocate for the sector.
