Keir Singleton, Harwood Hutton, is the man with the distinction of judging the award: “We have been most impressed with the applicants for the Small Business of the Year Award, who all demonstrated great knowledge of their market sector, including future developments.

“The candidates had up-to-date information available, from financial details to which product lines were selling the best. They were all were proactive in training staff to maximise the ability of each individual. We were impressed with the steps and procedures put in place to monitor staff achievements and how each was rewarded by the success of the business.

“It is going to be difficult to whittle it down to a shortlist and then choose a winning candidate but we are delighted to be supporting this very worthy award.”
