The network covers 54 countries around the world and is made up of almost 3,000 people and 600 business support organisations, ensuring direct access and introductions to a vast number of companies in foreign markets.
All of the Network’s services are free of charge and companies can:
- Browse a large database of business opportunities and promote their product or technology in the database
- Participate in business ‘speed dating’ events and meet many potential collaborators in one sitting
- Get personal introductions to foreign companies
- Learn more about various sources of EU R&D funding and find project partners.
To date, 81,000 businesses have been supported in accessing EU funding and 10,000 companies have secured contracts abroad.
The Network will assist companies in understanding and accessing new European funding opportunities in order to commercialise innovations; help provide bespoke coaching for companies to access finance; and offer tailor made support to help take ideas from research to market.
