The Mark Webber Challenge needs you!

Improve the workforce of tomorrow and gain some PR for your business at the same time.

On May 29, the first annual Mark Webber Youth Challenge takes place at Silverstone to support and fundraise for the Aylesbury College Trust (ACT) and tickets are now available for businesses that wish to attend.

Former Formula One driver, local resident and Buckinghamshire Ambassador Mark Webber is now a Patron of the Aylesbury College Trust and the event on May 29 which bears his name, will draw on his experience and success in sport to inspire the workforce of tomorrow. The young people involved will compete in unique challenges of teamwork, inclusion, determination and endurance including Hand Cycle racing and Krypton Factor Challenges.

The Aylesbury College Trust raises money for students who cannot afford to attend college, so by buying a ticket and helping the college to raise funds you will be helping the future workforce of Buckinghamshire learn the skills they will need to succeed in business.

What benefits will you get out of attending the Mark Webber Youth Challenge?

  • Your business will be promoted through local and regional PR activity for the Challenge, showcasing your business as one which cares about its social responsibility
  • Businesses that contribute to the event will help to reduce the talent drain and improve skills in Buckinghamshire
  • Businesses may also be able to take advantage of work experience and recruitment opportunities that arise, with eager college students taking part in events that will showcase their employability
  • ACT will bring donors together twice a year for breakfast and work networking events, so you can explore business opportunities with like-minded local business leaders
  • Current and potential customers will see your brand aligned with an exciting and high profile regional event

As well as financial donations ACT is seeking support with planning, resources and logistics for the Mark Webber Youth Challenge.

Tickets are available now for the Mark Webber Youth Challenge and Business Lunch. Tickets cost £100 individually or £900 for a table of 10.
