Two exclusive events for BBF members to attend

A gala dinner for the National Film & Television School, and a high profile networking event at the National Football Centre.

A special gala dinner is taking place on June 18 in central London for the National Film & Television School (NFTS) and businesses need to act fast to book a place. The event will be a dazzling celebration of the great and diverse talent that exists in the creative industries in the UK and which will show the NFTS’ commitment to do more to achieve greater diversity in film, television and games.

A special host will take guests through the evening during which they will wine and dine with some of Britain’s greatest on-screen and off-screen talent whilst enjoying the opportunity to bid on a number of unique prizes, including holidays, props and even participating in future film/TV productions. It will be a unique chance for businesess to entertain clients or simply reward friends at what will unquestionably be the media event of the summer!

To book your table, find out more or to discuss sponsorship opportunities, please contact Rosie Watterston or Gill Woods at the NFTS at rwatterston@nfts.co.uk / gwoods@nfts.co.uk or call on 01494 731381 / 01494 731474. The NFTS Galas are always sell-out events, so make sure you book your table early to avoid disappointment.

Another glamorous event for your diary is a high profile networking and client entertainment event at the home of English football, St. George’s Park, Burton on Trent on June 19. St. George’s Park is the English Football Association’s National Football Centre, which was opened by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on 9 October 2012.

The event is being hosted by Martin Reed, CEO of Thomas International and Mike Walker, Chairman of the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Branch of the IoD and has been planned to coincide with the England vs Uruguay World Cup match in Sao Paulo. The event will create a memorable experience for guests, and is a great opportunity to network with prominent IoD members and Thomas International clients and represents a chance for businesses to host clients in an impressive setting. As well as this, all guests will receive a personally printed England shirt (with guest name – max. 15 characters) to take away with them.

The venue has been chosen specifically as Thomas International have recently invested in the creation of a dedicated sports division and this event will be an opportunity to preview what the soon-to-be-launched Thomas International Sport will set out to achieve.

The price is £199 including VAT and overnight accommodation. This is an exclusive event and there are a very limited number of places available, so to book please contact Terri Stubbings on 01494 718699 or at admin.buckinghamshire@iod.net.
