Grow Movement

Jon Moon, a partner at e-mel, is also a volunteer consultant with an organisation called Grow Movement, which operates in Rwanda, Malawi and Uganda. Grow Movement recruits volunteers to give up a couple of hours a week to mentor African entrepreneurs via Skype, email or phone, helping to grow businesses, create jobs and alleviate poverty. Medical Supermarket have launched a new staff charity scheme called Give a Day. Medical Supermarket is giving each member of staff one paid day a year to do any sort of charity work they wish, whether it is supporting their local school, conservation work, helping the elderly, working at the local pet adoption centre or any other act of kindness and engagement with society.
